Welcome to Russell's Woodshed.
This week we visit the Tacito family farm (my sisters place). As we walked around looking at the animals, we spotted this little goat on the hood of an old truck.
Painters tape (masking tape) is used for easy pattern removal. I have tried to place the pattern directly onto the wood with spray adhesive. That method left a sticky residue behind. The painters tape makes pattern removal easy and clean. Be careful when you sand the finished product. Some small pieces of the wood could break, this could ruin your project. I used an orbital sander set at the lowest speed to remove the "fuzzies" left by the scroll saw blade. Speaking of blades, Bosch spiral blades were used for this one.
Did you enjoy cutting one of our patterns? Please leave a comment to let use know how much you liked or dislike the experience. Ask some questions or leave a suggestion. Oh, Thanks for stopping by.
